SALES at Mirvac’s Ascot Green luxury apartment and villa project in Brisbane have surpassed $129 million, leading the developer to open up registrations for the next stage.
With construction commencing this time last year, buyers at the 14-level $135 million Charlton House, Ascot Green’s third stage, have been predominately local buyers with an average apartment sale price of $1.29 million.
“Families were quick to secure the elevated three and four-bedroom villas and apartments; downsizers and empty-nesters have loved the two-bedders and first home buyers have snapped up single bedroom apartments,” said Warwick Bible, general manager of Queensland residential at Mirvac.
“First home buyers like the affordability of the one-bedroom apartments coupled with the rooftop facilities and communal dining areas which they can use as an extension of their home for entertaining and relaxing.”
The development, which sits directly adjacent to Eagle Farm Racecourse, includes resident facilities such as a gym, pool, BBQs, rooftop dinging and extensive sub-tropical landscaping.
Charlton House is also located within close proximity to Ascot’s shopping and dining village and around 6.5km north east of the Brisbane GPO.
Registrations of interest are now open for the fourth stage of the development which will launch to the market in 2024.
“We already have a number of purchasers registering their interest for the next stage, so are encouraging anyone who is interested in finding out more to get in touch so they don’t miss out,” added Bible.
Charlton House is part of Brisbane Racing Club’s $1.2 billion masterplan redevelopment of Eagle Farm.
Once completed Charlton House will feature 112 one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom apartments and a limited collection of three and four-bedroom villas.
Mirvac’s $800 million Heritage Lanes building and precinct in Brisbane, jointly owned with M&G Real Estate, recently became the first in the world to achieve a 6 Star Green Star Buildings certified rating, a new world-leading sustainability benchmark from the Green Building Council of Australia.
Charlton House is currently under construction with completion slated for mid-2024.
While the first two stages of Ascot Green, Ascot House and Tulloch House, are now complete and sold-out.
