Alignvest Student Housing REIT has acquired a new purpose-built student housing property in Montreal, marking its first foray into the city.
The 18-storey property, known as the Link, has 246 beds in 101 studio and two- to four-bedroom units that are fully furnished. Amenities include a gym, a rooftop terrace, a locker room and an underground garage.
The building, at 1680 Lincoln Avenue, is close to Concordia University and McGill University.
With the deal, the REIT now has 7,100 student housing units across Canada.
