THE operators of Vale Bar & Eatery in Melbourne’s Ascot Vale have leased a space within the historic Cumberland Arms Hotel building on Sydney Rd in Brunswick.
CVA’s Craig McKellar leased the 236 sqm Shop 1, 337-341 Sydney Rd in Melbourne’s inner north at $112,500 per annum on a five-year deal with three further options of five years.
The new venture, Plonk Bar & Eatery, will open up in a character-rich property that features a first floor office, capacity for 95 patrons, general liquor licence, five on-site parking spaces and is well supported by transport services at its doorstep.
The Cumberland Arms opened at the site in 1858.
