OPTEON Property Group has appointed Matthew Baxter as the head of the newly formed New Markets division in Victoria.
Opteon Victoria promoted Baxter, who was most recently the firm’s southern regional manager.
Opteon Victoria managing director Chris Knight said that the recently formed New Markets division is part of Opteon Victoria’s strategy to build and enhance diversified income flows and business opportunities.
“The New Markets division will assist us in actively pursuing new streams of revenue for the organisation and expand our reach throughout the Victorian metropolitan and regional market.
“Matthew has been a valued member of our team for a number of years and we couldn’t be more confident in his ability to help us grow and diversify our business,” Knight said.
Baxter has worked in the property industry for over 25 years and has seen success at Opteon Victoria in the position of regional manager and managing valuer for nine years.
Matthew’s successor as regional manager is Joe Stinear, who has been with Opteon Victoria for a total of eight years, operating as a managing valuer for the last four.
