A COMMERCIAL property at the top end of Collins Street has sold for $1.41 million as a deadline private sale by agents DTZ.
Located at Level 1 at 15 Collins Street in the Melbourne CBD, the property was purchased by an owner-occupier involved in the property industry.
The property comprising most of the first level of the building was available for sale for the first time in 27 years, as the vendor and occupier the Woman’s Christian Temperance Union found the 213 sqm of space was in excess of their need.
DTZ selling agent Patrick O’Callaghan said the property was a very unique offering located on the first level but it has its own street level entry from Collins Street at the forecourt of the building.
“Our campaign had strong interest with a number of parties submitting offers by the close of the deadline.
“Eventually an owner-occupier bought the property with an exceptional result that equates to approximately $6,620 per sqm,” he added.
