The Days Inn by Wyndham Saskatoon is being shopped for $15.7m.
Boyes Group Realty has the assignment for the 101-room hotel, at 2000 Idylwyld Drive North in Saskatoon, on behalf of C.G.C. Holdings. The valuation works out to $155,000/room. Labour is not unionized.
A freestanding 6,000 sq ft building at 125 Circle Drive East is included in the sale. The property is leased as a Wendel Clark’s Classic Grill and Bar until Nov. 30, 2028, with two five-year options to renew. The restaurant business is not included in the sale of the Days Inn but is separately listed with Realty Executives Saskatoon for $1.2m.
The hotel was built in 2001 and renovated in 2006. Amenities include an indoor pool, a hot tub, a fitness centre and meeting rooms.
On 2.5 acres near the intersection of Circle Drive East and Louis Riel Trail, the Days Inn by Wyndham Saskatoon is 1.4 km from Saskatoon International Airport, 3 km from downtown Saskatoon and 3.7 km from SaskTel Centre.
C.G.C. Holdings is a private hotel operator. Days Inn is an economy hotel line owned by Wyndham Hotels & Resorts. Geoff Ballotti is president and chief executive of the New Jersey-based company.
As of Dec. 31, 2023, there were 106 Days Inn hotels in Canada and 1,501 worldwide. The global full-year revenue per available room for the line was US$40.00 ($53.36).
