A 2-acre parcel in the Vancouver suburb of Maple Ridge has been listed for sale at $16.8m.
Currently home to a mobile home park at 20963 Lougheed Highway, the property is along the Lougheed Transit Corridor and near Ridge Meadows Hospital.
CBRE has the marketing assignment for the T-shaped property. The land is designated as a midrise residential development, according to the listing.
Part of Metro Vancouver, Maple Ridge is home to more than 90,000 residents. The city, about 35 km from downtown Vancouver, is serviced by the West Coast Express commuter train.
The Maple Ridge City Council recently paused new and “in-stream” development applications along the Lougheed Transit Corridor to ensure the projects follow the provincial government’s new housing legislation, which has density requirements.
