MELBOURNE builder and developer Hickory is set to launch Flex workspaces at Market Lane, as businesses ease back into workplace environments.
FLEX @ Market Lane, Hickory’s own flexible workspace operation, will open at 68 Clarke Street in South Melbourne and have been designed to allow businesses to expand or reduce their footprint without paying for under-utilised space.
“With FLEX, we made it our mission to design beautiful, inspiring and inviting spaces that welcome employees back to work on their own terms – a space where businesses can connect, collaborate and grow together,” said Carlos Hernandez, general manager at FLEX.
Hickory’s Market Lane building spans five floors of office space, with the new FLEX workspaces at the site to include high-tech meeting areas, break-out rooms, private phone booths and high-speed Wi-Fi.
“We are excited to expand soon into other Hickory developments. FLEX is not just a desirable flexible workspace location, it is also the core platform that connects all of our tenants,” added Hernandez.
“FLEX manages the building facilities of our developments, providing an outstanding customer experience and community integration for both tenants and the daily visitors that will come to enjoy our amazing locations.”
Tenants at FLEX will have secure access to these amenities 24-hours a day, with the membership fee also including access to hotel-style end-of-trip facilities, a yoga studio and gym.
The Elenberg Fraser-designed Market Lane also includes a 5-star NABERS rating and a 4-star Green Star rating, with a FLEX café, Square and Compass, also having recently opened at the South Melbourne location.
“The integration of FLEX workspaces will bring a new energy and vibrant sense of community to the already buzzing Market Lane, with regular social events where all tenants are invited,” concluded Hernandez.
Memberships at FLEX include day passes from $45 to premium offices starting at $1,760 per month.
