A 79-acre industrial parcel has been put up for sale on the outskirts of Calgary for $16.5m.
The property, comprising two adjacent lots at 283135 Glenmore Trail in rural Rocky View County, already has zoning and permits approved for a 1.1m sq ft industrial building. RE/MAX Real Estate (Central) has the marketing assignment on behalf of an unknown vendor.
The campaign pitches the land as ideal for data centres, warehouses, dealerships and other uses. It also highlights the property’s location on Calgary’s border, with 33% lower property taxes due to it being outside the city.
The parcel is 16 km southeast of downtown Calgary and less than 5 km from Highway 201.
