KingSett Capital has hired industry veteran Daniel Marinovic as its new executive director of investments, Green Street News can reveal.
Marinovic, who reports to chief investment officer Colin Baryliuk, started on Sept. 30.
At KingSett, he will be responsible for sourcing, structuring and negotiating the acquisition and disposition of commercial real estate properties across Canada. Longer term, he’ll be looking for investment opportunities for KingSett’s various lines of business, as well as creating and advancing new lines of business.
Previously, Marinovic spent nearly four years as chief executive officer and managing partner of Forest Gate Group.
Before that, he worked in various capacities at Dream Unlimited for eight years, exiting the company in 2021 as chief development officer.
