LENDLEASE has launched its new waterfront residential project in Ancora at Collins Wharf in Melbourne’s Docklands.
Located at 971 Collins Street, Ancora at Collins Wharf spans 28-storeys with 303 residences with 276 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments known as the Waterfront Collection and a Premier Collection of 27 residences across a range of townhouses, penthouses and larger scale apartments.
The offering will include a hotel-style lobby with concierge service, a private dining room, tow landscaped surrounds rooftop terraces located at level 4 and level 16 and a wintergarden.
Ancora at Collins Wharf has been designed as an all-electric building with electric vehicle infrastructure and will target 5 Star Green Star certification.
The launch of Ancora follows the success of Lendlease’s neighbouring Regatta at Collins Wharf development, which was launched in mid-2023 and is now more than 80% sold.
Ancora will connect to the neighbouring Regatta via a podium, providing residents with a range of wellness facilities including an indoor swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room, gym and multipurpose rooms.
“Following the success of Regatta at Collins Wharf with over 80% now sold, we have brought forward the release of Ancora in response to the demand from buyers seeking a quality home within this desirable waterfront neighbourhood, on the edge of the CBD,” said Daniel Dugina, executive director of development at Lendlease.
“Ancora at Collins Wharf is the next stage of our ongoing commitment to deliver more housing in prime locations in Melbourne, with the precinct stretching the city’s famed Collins Street further westwards to engage with the water, connecting its maritime past with the contemporary vibrancy of the city.”
Lendlease is also delivering new public spaces as part of the development, with Ancora to be surrounded by over 5,000sqm of new parkland including a new green space, designed by Openwork and including workout and fitness stations, covered seating areas, play zones, and open lawns.
Early works for Regatta are already underway, with construction of Ancora set to commence later this year and anticipated for completion in 2027, expressions of interest are now being accepted for Ancora at Collins Wharf.
Last month, Lendlease was given the green light for its $1.7 billion transformation of land next to Melbourne’s Queen Victoria Market, that will include four new towers with build-to-rent, affordable, and student housing.
