PARKLINE Place, owned by Oxford Properties and Mitsubishi Estate Asia, has secured key leases with the NSW government, taking the building to 75%.
Four agencies will occupy over 10 floors. The Office of Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) moved into the building in January, and Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure (DPHI) and Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) will move into their new premises from April 2025. The Crown Solicitor’s Office (CSO) will take up residence mid-2026.
The agencies join leading wealth management organisation, Insignia Financial – one of the first tenants to move into Parkline Place – and global accounting, tax and advisory services firm, BDO.
Meanwhile The Grounds will reveal its new retail premises in the coming months, joining Batch Espresso and Starbucks.
“We are delighted to welcome our NSW Government tenant customers to Parkline Place. Many major employers are progressively bringing employees back to the office for more of the working week, and like leading commercial firms, this Government is placing significant value on creating a desirable workplace experience for its people,” Investa head of leasing Mark Podgornik said.
“We are seeing strong demand for new buildings like Parkline Place that are a destination in their own right, easy to get to, have plenty of amenities, and offer exceptional, sustainable and adaptable spaces to facilitate teamwork, collaboration and innovation.
“We are also delighted to welcome The Grounds, which will join Batch Espresso and Starbucks to the Parkline Place family. These popular food and beverage retailers will provide over 4,000 workers, commuters and locals with fantastic new offerings, making Parkline Place a vibrant new destination and meeting place in the CBD,” he added.
As a result of the new deals, only the high-rise floors remain available for lease.
Located at 252 Pitt Street, Sydney directly atop Gadigal Station in the heart of the legal district and emerging financial services hub of the CBD, Parkline Place was designed by Foster + Partners and built by CPB Contractors. The premium 39-storey tower includes 48,102.80 sqm of office space, and 635.40 sqm of hospitality and retail space.
Parkline Place is fully electric and powered by renewable electricity, targeting net zero scope 1 and 2 emissions in operation. It is designed to achieve 5.5-star NABERS Energy, 3.5-star NABERS Water, 6-star Green Star Design and As-Built V1.3, and WELL Certification V2 Platinum sustainability ratings.
