A LOCAL Adelaide developer has paid $925,000 for a former church building in the city fringe suburb of Norwood for $925,000.
The 910 sqm site is located at 49 Beulah Road and includes the 325 sqm former church building.
CB Richard Ellis’ Ben Younger and Ed Wright steered the successful Expressions of Interest campaign.
Wright said CBRE has experienced a significant amount of interest in the offering despite the heritage component.
“The opportunity to acquire a prominent building along one of Adelaide’s major office/showroom strips is rare as this area is generally tightly held,”
Younger said the purchaser was planning to redevelopment the church bringing it back to its former glory and modernising it internally for office and or showroom space.
