Panattoni has sold 23 acres of raw industrial land in Brampton for $54m, Green Street News can reveal.
The buyer was Mobile Climate Control. The plot, at 8386 Highway 50, is adjacent to two industrial buildings spanning 650,000 sq ft that the developer completed in 2023. The deal closed on Oct. 24.
According to marketing materials, the plot can house a structure of about 389,000 sq ft. Panattoni pitched the offering as a design-build opportunity and included plans for a facility with 68 truck-level doors, plus parking stalls for 330 cars and 38 trailers.
The site is within several kilometres of Highways 427 and 407. It’s also 6 km to the CN Intermodal Yard and 5 km from the CP Intermodal Yard, Canada’s major freight-rail providers. The property is 10 km from Toronto Pearson International Airport.
Brampton is one of the fastest-growing cities in Canada.
