Pure Industrial has hired Ian Passmore to oversee its investment and development teams as the company looks to strengthen its industrial real estate footprint in Canada.
As senior vice president of investments, Passmore works closely with the executive team, sourcing, underwriting and executing industrial real estate acquisitions, dispositions and developments.
Passmore has more than 14 years of experience in acquisition and asset management roles in North America. He joins Pure Industrial from Brookfield Asset Management, where he was responsible for acquisitions and asset management across the firm’s real estate and infrastructure groups.
He also supported the investment team at New York-based Square Mile Capital Management, a real estate investment firm focused on equity and credit investments in North America, and the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board in the real estate investments group.
