POTTER George Group is launching a new residential development in Melbourne’s north-west, in the $175 million Oaklands in Bonnie Brook.
Located within the city of Melton, around 28km out from the Melbourne CBD, Oaklands will comprise 450 lots and half a hectare of parkland, with lots ranging from 263sqm to 550sqm and starting at $310,000.
“We are anticipating very high interest Oaklands given its proximity to excellent lifestyle amenities and transport links,” said Scott Payten, project manager at Potter George Group.
“This precinct has emerged as a premier residential location in Melbourne’s rapidly growing north west.”
Oaklands will also be located within walking distance of a proposed primary school and secondary school.
“Oaklands will have strong appeal with its affordable family-friendly lots, being short drive from established amenities including, Watergardens Shopping Centre and Central Shopping Centre both at Caroline Springs, schools and colleges, medical centres, national parks and public transport options,” added Payten.
Potter George Group is launching the new project after the sell-out success of Kerani Heights in Fraser Rise.
All 190 lots at Kerani Heights have settled for around $55 million, reflecting demand for houses and land in the growth corridor.
“In just three years Kerani Heights was transformed from a vacant site to having all 190 lots sold. It shows the demand for quality product in the right locations is very strong,” said Payten.
