A commercial land parcel in Simcoe County is up for grabs for $29.5m.
A private seller is seeking $454,000 per acre for 65 Reive Boulevard, on 65 acres in the Cookstown neighbourhood of Innisfil. The brokerage Lennard Commercial Realty is representing the seller.
The site is zoned for a variety of commercial uses, including retail, manufacturing and hospitality. The investment opportunity includes acquiring an existing 32,000 sq ft industrial facility and an outdoor storage yard leased at the site until 2029. Tenants include a patio manufacturer and a trailer rental company.
The property at 65 Reive is 75 m north of the nearest on-ramp to Highway 400, and 251 m from Highway 89. The closest major urban area, Barrie, is 22 km away.
The Cookstown area has seen significant development announcements of late. In April, Gateway Casinos & Entertainment announced a proposal to build a new casino and seven-storey hotel on 25 acres at 239 Reive Boulevard, currently home to a golf course.
Another development in the works is DSV Canada’s planned 1.3m sq ft distribution facility, scheduled to open next summer.
