The president and CEO of Sotheby’s International Realty Canada is stepping down effective April 23.

Kottick said it has been “an amazing journey” during his six years at the firm, praising his management team and thanking his colleagues.
An internal memo from Peerage Realty Partners, a partner of Sotheby’s in Canada, said an interim leadership team will be put in place consisting of two Sotheby’s executives — vice president of operations for Sotheby’s Canada Evan Shandler and chief marketing officer Elaine Hung — and Effi Barak of Peerage Realty Partners.
The memo, from president of Peerage Group Sotheby’s International Realty, Tara Brown, said a search for a new CEO to replace Kottick has begun.
Prior to his role at Sotheby’s, Kottick served as executive vice president of corporate development at Peerage from 2014 until 2019.
