Two Harley-Davidson dealerships in Southern Ontario traded for $11.3m in a sale-leaseback transaction, Green Street News can reveal.
The dealerships, at 310 Holiday Inn Drive in Cambridge and 900 Wilton Grove Road in London, were sold by a private investor to Jeff Kubacki. Kubacki is the principal at Mayson Real Estate, a commercial real estate investment and asset management firm.
Canadian Commercial Realty handled the sale of the properties, with Avison Young representing the buyer. The deal, which closed on Nov. 7, included a 15-year, fully net lease.
Each building spans more than 20,000 sq ft, and both sit just off Highway 401, though nearly 100 km apart.
The Ontario market has seen a handful of notable dealership property transactions this year, most recently, Automotive Properties REIT’s October disposition of a Markham dealership for $54m. The property, at 8210-8220 Kennedy Road and 7-15 Main Street, was purchased by a member of Dilawri Group, the REIT’s largest shareholder.
