The property is being sold by Dewayne Montey of PRDnationwide Gold Coast corporate office, on behalf of owner RMA Spare Parts.
Located at 43A Egerton Street, Southport, the site comprises a freestanding factory currently divided into two tenant areas with roller door access. The perimeter is fully fenced with acoustic fencing on the eastern boundary.
The property was purchased by RMA Spare Parts in 2000 for $240,000. The property is listed for sale as Taylor is downsizing his business interests.
Montey said the premise is ideal for an owner occupier, investor or developer to re-develop the site into showrooms or refurbish and strata title.
“The site is zoned for showroom retail, indoor recreation and service industries.
“Residential apartment and commercial development, located above ground level, is also encouraged throughout the precinct offering a prime redevelopment opportunity,” he added.
Earlier this year professional basketballers Shane Heal and Simon Kerle sold a 2,049 sqm car yard nearby at 19 – 23 Ferry Road for $2.85 million.
