Starlight Investments has purchased a build-to-rent (BTR) community under development in Dartford, Kent, as it builds its European residential asset management program.
The 232-suite property will comprise seven midrise buildings. Units range from studios to three bedrooms and will be fully furnished. Amenities include a 2,000 sq ft rooftop terrace, and a large park adjacent to the complex. There will be 163 parking spaces.
The deal takes Starlight’s UK portfolio to more than 1,250 suites, with 1,500 suites under development.
Daniel Drimmer, founder and chief executive of Starlight Investments, said: “The addition of this community is part of our broader UK expansion strategy and showcases our continued momentum in the country’s dynamic and growing BTR market.”
In May, the Toronto-based company bought a new build-to-rent scheme at 84 Kirkstall Road in Leeds.
