A 5-acre plot of oceanfront land on British Columbia’s Sunshine Coast has been listed for $25m.
At 5778 Marine Way in Sechelt, a path has been cleared for high-density development of the vacant property with recent changes to the official community plan.
Engel & Volkers has the marketing assignment.
The campaign suggests the property could be used to build a development with up to 450 rental or condominium units.
Residential units would have a view of Sechelt Inlet, on the municipality’s north side.
The land is near downtown Sechelt and Capilano University’s Sunshine Coast campus.
Last month, another property in the area was put up for sale for $15m. It and the Marine Way site share an unknown investor, operating under a numbered B.C. corporation.
Sechelt is a community of more than 11,000 people 60km northwest of downtown Vancouver.
