A 2-acre parcel of land on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia has been put up for sale hoping to find $15m.
The property, at 5845 Sunshine Coast Highway in Sechelt, has ocean views and 300 ft of direct access to the water. Engel & Volkers has the marketing assignment on behalf of RTC Properties.
The campaign pitches the vacant property as ideal for condominium, rental or hotel units, citing new civic regulations allowing for higher density on the site. It also highlights Sechelt’s growing draw as a tourist destination.
RTC previously had proposed a condominium development for the site, receiving approval to build 20 units across two buildings in 2020.
The property has amenities such as dining and shopping within a kilometre. Sechelt is an oceanfront city of about 12,000 about 50 km northwest of downtown Vancouver.
