SEKISUI House Australia has snapped up a residential development site at Baulkham Hills from a private landowner for $210 million.
The 8.1ha site is located at 47 Spurway Drive, beside the Castle Hill Country Club, and Sekisui House plans to develop a master-planned mixed-use residential community.
CEO Toru Abe said the acquisition of this exceptional development land marks the start of a new era for Baulkham Hills and Norwest.
“As the construction of the North West Rail Link continues at pace, we intend to create a masterplanned community set within beautifully landscaped gardens and natural forest.
“It will be a new aspirational community that is unique to the Hills district,” he added.
Abe said Sekisui House Australia recognised Baulkham Hills as a key growth area with strong employment and transport links with the growing population in the west predicted at one million over the next two decades.
“We look forward to creating a vibrant estate with a high level of amenity for residents and the local community.
“With Norwest Business Park, one of the largest employment precincts in Sydney and Norwest Train Station at our doorstep, residents will be immediately connected with existing community and future transport links,” Abe concluded.
