Vesta Properties is planning a 47-storey mixed-use tower in Calgary with condominiums, rental apartments and commercial space.
Dubbed Broadway on 17th, the project will comprise three towers with over 1,000 residential units — about 30% of which will be rentals — totaling about 1m sq ft.
The units will range from studios to three bedrooms. Amenities will include coworking space, a gym, lounges and pet facilities. The buildings also will have more than 70,000 sq ft of commercial space suitable for retail, dining and other uses.
Sales for the condo units are expected to start this summer.
Vesta Properties is marketing the towers, at Fourth Street and 17th Avenue, as having unparalleled views of Calgary and the Rocky Mountains. Roughly 1 km from downtown Calgary, the development has immediate access to the city’s top cultural and entertainment districts.
Vesta Properties has a 35-year history in Western Canada, having built more than 7,000 homes. Kent Sillars is president.
