SEKISUI House Australia secured more than $85 million in sales in just a few hours at the launch of Veue Parkside, within The Orchards masterplanned community.
The Crone Architects-designed Veue Parkside is the fourth stage of Veue in Norwest, around 35km out from the Sydney CBD, and comprises two building of nine and 14 storeys with 156 residences.
The launch saw more than 80 sales, after over 150 people registered to attend. The sales started at $690,000 for a one-bedroom up to $3.3 million for a four-bed penthouse, with the latter equalling the record for the top apartment sale price in the project.
The sales included 15 one-beds, 45-two beds, 14 two-bed max, 5 three-bed, 2 three-bed townhouse style and 2 four-bed penthouses.
With the top penthouse sale secured by a Hills Shire downsizer, with the majority of buyers also local residents.
“Downsizers seeking an oversized parkside home with large living spaces as well as owner-occupiers and young professionals looking for an additional ‘work from home’ space represented the largest cohort of purchasers,” said David Lee, sales manager of apartments & mixed-use developments, The Orchards at Sekisui House Australia.
“Over 60 per cent of sales were secured by Hills Shire residents and the remainder from across Sydney including Vaucluse, Bondi Junction and Maroubra. To achieve another $3.3million penthouse sale in the latest stage demonstrates renewed strength in the market for high-quality, well-located apartments.”
Facilities at Veue Parkside include concierge service, a wellness centre with an indoor swimming pool, gym and communal function centre, linking directly to a landscaped garden.
“Sekisui House Australia’s highly regarded reputation for building quality-homes continues to attract perceptive home buyers in The Orchards as well as its focus on working within the natural environment to create homes that last across generations, surrounded by green spaces, recreational parks and stunning landscaping,” added Lee.
The Orchards masterplan was designed by turner and being delivered in five stages and will comprise 1,300 apartments with almost 650 already sold.
July 2022 saw Sekisui complete its Japanese inspired gold-side building Aire in The Orchards, after selling around $35 million worth of apartments at the Lumia Lux stage of the community in a week.
While last December, Sekisui House announced its premium home building brand SHAWOOD was expanding into north-west Sydney, having acquired a prime 1.2-hectare site in Castle Hill for a new community.
Construction has begun at Veue Parkside, with residents expected to move in mid-2026.
