SOME $20 million is expected for historic Victorian homestead and cattle farm St Fillan, in the Murrindindi Shire, which has been tipped to the market by long-term owner Michael Kidelka.
The 155-hectare farm, located north east of Healesville, was established in 1880 and was the private residence of Victoria premier and prominent landowner Sir James Munro.
Kudelka acquired the property 25 years ago and along with wife Rebecca turned it into a cattle farm, home to their St Fillan AgCo Black Angus breeding herd.
They also restored the four-bedroom Georgian homestead. The homestead is set amongst manicured gardens and accessed via a sealed driveway bound by circa-1880 European trees.
There is an in-ground swimming pool, sauna, synthetic tennis court and garaging, as well as two guesthouses and a five-bedroom, two-bathroom manager’s residence.
Support infrastructure includes undercover post and rail cattle yards, stable complex, barn and extensive machinery and hay shedding.
Elders Real Estate agents Nick Myer and Henry Mackinnon is marketing St Fillan Farm via expressions of interest closing 6th December.
