THIRTEEN private strata office owners are expected to net around $60 million, after joining forces to offer their commercial building at 701 Pacific Highway in Sydney’s Chatswood to the market.
The lower north shore property encompasses 1,393 sqm site and may be rezoned, potentially allowing for a mixed-use building with a height allowance of 90 metres and gross floor area of 8,358 sqm.
Chatswood has also seen privately owned properties – eight houses and 12 townhouses – on a 5,420 sqm site taken to the market in one line, which could bring a mammoth $250 million.
Local developer Develotek is believed to have options over the properties, which includes 30-32A Bertram Street, 34 Albert Avenue and 51-61 Archer Street.
It has potential for a mixed-use development also of 90 metres height, with more than 400 apartments and gross floor area of 30,000 sqm.
