THE Industry Superannuation Property Trust Core Fund has secured Victoria University as a long term tenant at the Central West business park.
Victoria University has signed a 10-year office lease at Central West in Braybrook in Melbourne’s inner western suburbs.
The deal was negotiated by Savills Australia Victorian head of office leasing Nicholas Farley who said the location was ideal because Vic Uni’s main campus is in nearby Footscray.
Located on the corner of Ashley St and South Rd, the property comprises a modern 1,525 sqm, ground level, space at a gross rental of $280 a sqm.
Farley said the business park has experienced strong interest from tenants in the area, as it offered excellent staff amenity including on-site cafés, car parking, and a location adjoining the popular Central West shopping centre, whilst Tottenham railway station is only a few minutes away.
Anchored by Coles and Aldi supermarkets, the shopping centre is supported by mini majors Dimmeys, Warehouse Sales and Red Hot Spot, services including the Commonwealth Bank and Australia Post and more than 40 specialty stores. There is also parking for 820 cars.
