Mastercard has secured 308 sqm of space on a five-year term at 535 Bourke St owned by Julliard. The rent struck was circa $450 per sqm net.
JLL’s director of office leasing Ashley Buller and executive of office leasing Simon Dick negotiated the lease.
“The recent redevelopment and revitalisation of the site demonstrates a bold new direction for one of Melbourne’s historical landmarks, and provides the opportunity to create an efficient, healthy workplace while also including its brand new ground floor retail with Spin, Simply Spanish, Pok Pok and Dough Boys.
“The new retail offering, conference facilities and End of Trip facilities have just been completed and in the last six months have helped to attract six new tenants to the building including Mastercard who had outgrown their current space. Juilliard have also been an active landlord, meaning that they have been stripping old fit-outs and delivering to the market open refurbished space.” Buller said.
