AN owner-occupier has acquired an office/warehouse complex at Hornsby in Sydney’s north-west for $8.6 million.
Savills Leigh Burges and Peter Steinhour handled the sale. It was sold subject to a short term lease to global manufacturer of integrated ovens and baking systems, Auto-Bake. The 29-33 King Rd property comprises 4,697 sqm of space across three separate buildings including 3,918 sqm of warehouse and insulated cool room space and 779 sqm of office space, set on a 8,756 sqm site.
Burges said the sale was an excellent result for the vendor and one of the most significant recent deals for the precinct, whilst providing the purchaser with a property which was well suited to its requirements.
“The purchaser had sought a spacious and well-presented facility which provided an efficient working layout, including cranes and truck marshalling areas, in the best possible location,” Burges said.
