MODERN Teaching Aids has leased an 8,000 sqm warehouse in Moreton Bay’s Brendale industrial precinct as it eyes off future expansion.
CBRE’s Hugh Adnam and Dillon Murphy negotiated the lease over 250 South Pine Road in conjunction with Brendale Commercial’s Stann Topp.
The two-hectare site includes a 304 sqm operations dispatch office, and the warehouse features 10 metre clearance, high grade sprinklers, multiple loading docks and dock levellers.
MTA signed a seven-year lease at $100 per sqm plus outgoings and GST.
Adnam said the property design and location was ideally suited to MTA’s growth requirements.
MTA carries Australia’s largest range of teaching resources and education supplies for primary schools, high schools, secondary schools, childcare centres, and OOSH facilities.
“The deal continues the trend for larger lease requirements in the Brendale industrial precinct and surrounding suburbs. Multiple transactions around this size have been transacted over the past two years as companies target opportunities in this growth corridor,” Murphy said.
