AVJennings has unveiled its new $3 million Rec Club at Elysium Noosa masterplanned community in the Sunshine Coast.
AVJennings’ Corporate Ambassador Steve Waugh AO launched the club which is located at the heart of the $180 million masterplanned community.
The Rec Club, which has been designed and constructed for the exclusive use of residents, features a lap pool, tennis court, gymnasium, barbeques, an observation deck to take in lagoon views, resident lounge and mixed use fitness and leisure zones.
AVJennings CEO Peter Summers said the opening follows 12 months of planning, design and construction.
“We are excited to unveil such an innovative and quality facility that will add to the incredible lifestyle already on offer at Elysium,” he said.
AVJennings acquired the site in November 2010 and commenced work on a $1 million refurbishment to rejuvenate the community.
“The extensive works included planting hundreds of new trees and shrubs across the 27 ha parcel of land, creation of landscaped open spaces, restoration of community facilities and of-course, the planning of the Rec Club,” Summers said.
Elysium Noosa is situated in one of Noosa’s most sought-after precincts, just minutes from the trendy restaurants and cafes of Hastings St, unspoilt beaches, and manicured golf courses.
Summers said Elysium captures the essence of Noosa living, with the perfect blend of facilities, location and lifestyle options and with prices starting from $259,900 on selected land lots, it also offers exceptional value.
“At these prices buyers will be able to build a quality new home with a house and land value in the $600,000’s making the Elysium lifestyle well within the range of many families,” he said.
Summers said the partnership between Steve Waugh and AVJennings provides an opportunity to align two iconic, trusted and successful brands through their commitment to communities and caring for others.
“Over the years AVJennings has supported a number of charitable organisations and has become a major sponsor and proud partner of the Steve Waugh Foundation, which strives to improve the quality of life for children and families affected by rare diseases,” he said.
Waugh said together the Foundation and AVJennings are building a partnership that improves the quality of life for children, families and communities across Australia.
“AVJennings works with the foundation on various fundraising initiatives to generate funds that go towards medication, treatment, specialised equipment and financial support for children and families who suffer from rare diseases,” Waugh said.
“It is a brand name that continues to be one of the most recognised housing brands in Australia and we are inspired to be working with a likeminded team at AVJennings,” he added.
“Noosa Heads is one of Australia’s premier lifestyle destinations and Elysium really embraces the laid back beachside lifestyle,” he said. “The community is surrounded with connecting walking trails and bike paths, and with the new Rec Club, residents do not have to venture too far from home to keep fit.
“If you are thinking about retirement, a sea change or an investment, Elysium represents an outstanding opportunity,” Waugh concluded.
