A LOCAL towing business has leased 3,300sqm former car yard and workshop in Fawkner in Melbourne’s north.
Fitzroys senior associate Dean Alexander negotiated the deal at 1200-1202 Sydney Rd Fawkner.
The property comprises a 500sqm office and workshop building and wide 30-metre frontage to major arterial Sydney Rd, and was leased at a net rate of $45,000 per annum plus outgoings and GST.
Alexander said the lease was negotiated on a short-term basis as the owners are exploring potential development options for the site.
“It was a great result for the owners to have a tenant secured for the property, and maximise their return from the high-exposure site whilst they consider their next move,” he said.
