Marcio Sahade has decamped from Hines for a role at a real estate analytics firm focused on artificial intelligence, Green Street News can reveal.
Sahade joined Leni on July 1 as industry success lead. Based in Toronto, he reports to founder and chief executive Arunabh Dastidar.
Sahade is focused on helping commercial real estate companies in Canada and the U.S. integrate AI into their operations to augment teams, improve efficiencies and decision-making, and drive portfolio performance.
The appointment comes as investment in AI skyrockets. Capital expenditure for the global data-centre market could reach $366bn by 2026, Green Street News previously reported – and commercial real estate firms’ demand for automation and intelligent insight is growing.
Prior to Leni, Sahade spent over seven years at Hines, most recently as a director of investment management. He previously held positions at Tishman Speyer.
