MOMENTUM is building in the North Sydney office market following a spate of deals recently.

IT company Gartner, telecommunications provider ACN Pacific, ICT solutions provider Planet Tel, BA Insurance Systems, FireEye Australia and Workday Australia have recently secured new office space in North Sydney, totalling 6,383sqm.
CBRE’s North Sydney office services Stefan Perkowski brokered the leases with Gartner, ACN Pacific and Planet Tel and is currently working on several other deals.
Gartner has committed to lease 2259.4sqm of space in North Sydney’s newest building, 40 Mount St, which is co-owned by Investa Commercial Property Fund and Pramerica.
Gartner, was represented by Independent Corporate Property’s Stuart Allison, will relocate from a nearby North Sydney building they have occupied for the past 10 years.
ACN Pacific is relocating from 1 Pacific Highway – where it had been based for close to a decade – to Blackstone backed Valad’s 90 Arthur St tower. The company leased 816 sqm on level 5 on a five-year term with commencing rental of $495 per sqm.
BA Insurance Systems is also moving into 90 Arthur St, securing 500 sqm and agreeing to a rental of $575 per sqm net.
