STOCK feed manufacturer, Meningie Fodder, is selling its facility at Findon, which has come on market for the first time in more than 30 years.
Colliers International’s Tim Altschwager and Jesse Manuel are handling the sale of 231-235 Findon Rd property via an expressions of interest campaign.
They are anticipating strong enquiry from existing stockfeed manufacturers, grain growers, agribusiness investors and other land users.
“Meningie Fodder is an established eight-person business with an annual turnover of more than $6 million so we’re expecting this to be a particularly competitive campaign,” Altschwager said. “What started decades ago, simply supplying stock feed to dairy farms around the Lower Murray and Lakes areas, has expanded to distributing a wide range of stock feeds throughout South Australia and the western districts of Victoria.”
The property is about 150 kilometres south east of Adelaide and comprises about 100 acres of arable land fenced into paddocks, dedicated stock yards, an office complex, feedlot/research facility, sheds, weighbridge, silos and ample water storage.
