HIGH net worth Chinese company Seatech Industrial Pty Ltd has acquired a two-level mixed-use warehouse building in Sydney’s Chippendale for $4.8 million, after a sales campaign that generated over 200 enquiries.
Savills agents Tom Tuxworth, David Hickey and Nick Lower sold 18 City Road at a market equated yield of 3.75%.
Previously home to Bodenweiser Dance Centre, the 259 sqm site has a net lettable area of 450 sqm, with ground floor commercial space and a penthouse apartment on the first level.
Zoned B4, the site offers for potential for mixed use and student accommodation developments and strata subdivision. It is located within one kilometre of UTS, Sydney University and Notre Dame.
The agents said there were 84 inspections and 24 contracts issued throughout the campaign.
