Nicola Real Estate has brought industry veteran Adam Sherriff-Scott on board to lead the company’s leasing and portfolio strategy in Toronto.
Sherriff-Scott made the move after almost 11 years at JLL, where he was most recently an executive vice president of industrial properties.
Sherriff-Scott has done business with NRE for more than a decade, he said in a release, and appreciates the company’s long-term approach.
In his new position, Sherriff-Scott is responsible for strengthening NRE’s portfolio and leasing activity in the east while bolstering relations with clients and industry players. He reports to NRE’s managing director of real estate Ron Bastin, who praised Sherriff-Scott’s experience and reputation.
“His extensive network in the brokerage community and his deal-making acumen bring immediate firepower to our strategic growth plans,” Bastin said in the release.
NRE is the real estate arm of financial planning and investment firm Nicola Wealth. Based in Vancouver, NRE has a portfolio of over $10bn in major markets across North America.
