Chartwell Retirement Residences has agreed to purchase a senior-housing property in Victoria, B.C., for $75m.
The131-suite property was built in 2021 and is 28% occupied. Suites have full kitchens and washer/dryers. The deal is expected to close in the first quarter.
The transaction marks the Mississauga, Ont.-based company’s fourth acquisition on Vancouver Island. It agreed to buy three senior-housing properties there in August.
