Société Immobilière Bélanger bought a large residential portfolio in the Québec City region for $143m, RENX reported.
Bélanger acquired 39 apartment buildings, comprising 1,057 units, from Logisco. The Québec City-based firm financed the deal through CMHC loans.
The properties are in the city’s suburbs that include Loretteville and Lévis.
The deal brings the firm’s portfolio to more than 3,000 units.
Most of the properties are three or four storeys, with the largest having 70 units. All buildings are fully leased.
Logisco sold the portfolio to focus on larger properties and to increase its construction capabilities.
