AN Asian based investor has paid $7 million for a Sydney CBD heritage office building in a deal negotiated by Colliers International.
Colliers International’s John Bowie Wilson and Steam Leung negotiated the sale on behalf of Forestfield Corporation.
Located 93 Bathurst Street, opposite the Town Hall and in Sydney CBD’s emerging Midcity precinct, the property was sold with vacant possession at a cost of $8450 per sqm.
The fully renovated space consisting of two levels of retail, four upper levels of office space and a roof top terrace.
Bowie Wilson said the opportunity to secure a building in the Town Hall area had attracted a lot of interest from potential investors.
“The location is excellent as is sits exactly where the China Town and Midcity precincts have expanded to meet.
“There is a lot going on in this location – new residential developments, newly created retail space as well as the construction of premium grade office towers. It’s no surprise people are keen to get in on the act,” he added.
