JUNIPER Group is looking to sell its Sea Temple Golf and Country Club with luxury estate development at Port Douglas.
CBRE Hotels is marketing the sale of the 18-hole championship golf course, fully licensed restaurant, luxury estate development with 51 remaining homesites fronting the golf course and development approvals for a further 10 housing lots.
Juniper Group joint managing director Shaun Juniper said the company was selling a number of its holdings in North Queensland in order to concentrate on its core business of property development, particularly the $850 million Soul tower in Surfers Paradise where Stage 1 is approaching settlement.
“We have always enjoyed a fabulous relationship with North Queensland and are very proud of the projects we have put in place, however as developers we need to be prepared for the next opportunity.
“With settlement of Stage 1 of Soul expected shortly, that is our primary focus at present,” he said.
CBRE Hotels Wayne Bunz said the Sea Temple Golf and Country Club offered a genuine opportunity for incoming purchasers to own one of Australia’s most prestigious golf courses.
“This is one of the most exciting opportunities in Far North Queensland this year and will prove to be a strategic acquisition with the housing development also on offer,” Bunz said.
