AUSTRALAND has released another eight land lots at its masterplanned community Greenhills Beach, adjacent to Cronulla.
The lots are opposite a natural lake that has been regenerated. Australand’s NSW residential division general manager Nigel Edgar said this is the final land release for the beachside suburb for the year.
The lots are priced from $860,000 to $895,000 and range in size from 552 sqm to 569 sqm.
The latest release coincides with registration of stage two of the beachside development which paves the way for settlement on lots sold within that precinct and the lodgement of development applications by owners so that they can start building their homes.
“The whole precinct is rapidly being transformed now. Within a year from now we anticipate families to start moving in.
“Australand expects strong interest for its latest release with many families already having registered an interest in upcoming issues of land,” Edgar said.
Greenhills Beach is the first beachside suburb to be built in the metropolitan area in 30 years. It has been designed to embrace the natural environment encompassing the surf, the dunes, the lake and natural frog ponds. It comprises more than 90 ha of bushland, parks and reserves and has direct beachfront access.
It has become one of Sydney’s most sought-after beachside residential destinations with land and housing packages for less than $1 million by the beach.
More than 130 families who have purchased at Greenhills Beach estate are now progressing their plans for construction of their new homes. The first homes are forecast to be completed by mid-2013.
