A MEDICAL centre with redevelopment potential at Doncaster East in Melbourne’s north-east has sold at auction for $1,115,000 — $315,000 above the reserve price.
Ray White Commercial’s Brett Diston sold the property on a 720 sqm block at 218 Blackburn Rd Doncaster East to a local developer.
Diston said there was keen interest in the prime corner property, which has been a long standing medical centre but is zoned for apartments (STCA).
“We had five registered bidders at the on-site auction and bidding started at $600,000. There was spirited bidding for the property which eventually sold under the hammer for $1,115,000.
“The corner allotment allows for potential unit/apartment development,” he added.
