A BALCATTA industrial site at 14 Ledgar Rd has sold for $5.3 million in an off-market deal.
The property was sold by Knight Frank and JLL for more than $1 million than it fetched less than two years ago.
Knight Frank’s Sam Hammond said the strong price illustrated the underlying demand for good quality industrial properties in Perth’s premium industrial areas.
The 6,016sqm property provides 674sqm of office/showroom, 2,017sqm of warehouse and expansive hardstand, and was sold with vacant possession.
“Freestanding properties of this calibre are quite rare in Balcatta, and it is a very strategic landholding with a broad range of potential uses and medium to long-term redevelopment potential,” Hammond said.
