BROWNS English Language School has tripled its total Brisbane CBD operations, signing leases over two floors at 102 Adelaide St.
The education group took five-year deals with options over 1,869sqm across levels one and four of the building, to add to its 823sqm tenancy at 295 Ann St. It brings its total space in the CBD to 2,692sqm.
Roland Dean of Colliers International negotiated the lease.
“They were expanding and decided to take up additional space within 102 Adelaide building due to its fantastic location. It is positioned in the transport hub alongside King George Square, and is within close proximity to all forms of public transport and the Queen St Mall,” Dean said.
He added that the education sector is currently very active, with a number of groups expanding into Brisbane CBD in the last few months.
“Recent deals include AIM taking up space within 295 Ann St, Central Queensland University taking up additional space in 160 Ann St, and Federation University moving into 333 Ann St,” he said.
