A PROMINENT Hallam corner site of 4,423 sqm zoned General Residential 1 has sold under the hammer for $3.08 million, around 10% above reserve, and is set to make way for a townhouse development.
The 9S Young Road property in Melbourne’s south-eastern growth corridor has three street frontages totalling more than 184 sqm, including of around 40 metres to busy Belgrave-Hallam Road.
Two bidders competed for the property, with a private developer ultimately purchasing the property at $696 per sqm.
It was sold by Knight Frank’s Ken Smirk, Andrew Greenway and Tom Zhou.
