CONSTRUCTION has started on the first residential tower to be built in Gold Coast’s Main Beach in more than a decade.
Cerulean, developed by CityVest, will rise 16 levels and consist of 29 north-facing three-bedroom apartment. Around 60% of the project has sold, with all buyers to date being owner occupiers.
The high-end two-per-floor are one block from the Tedder Avenue precinct and a short walk to the sand.
“We have been selling to owner occupiers primarily from the immediate Main Beach area who are looking for a new home and a stress-free lifestyle while staying in the area they love,” director of residential at Colliers International and project marketer, David Higgins said.
“Other buyers have been Brisbane homeowners looking to secure a piece of Main Beach.
“Most are motivated by the fact that Cerulean represents excellent value in one of the Gold coasts most sought after suburbs,” he added.
Remaining apartments are selling from $1.27 million, up to the penthouse price of $3.95 million. Hutchinson Builders handling construction with completion expected in mid-2020.
