DEVELOPER Bottega Group has been granted approval for its 17 level “vertical beach house” project in Broadbeach on the Gold Coast.
Designed by Woods Bagot, the development named 1230BR will comprise 14 dwellings, including a ground level five bedroom beach house set over two floors with a private pool, plus 12 full floor homes and a double- storey penthouse, on a 646 sqm site.
123OBR is part of a project pipeline across three sites for the local Queenslanders, who are currently in due diligence on a number of diversified assets across the eastern seaboard of Australia.
Bottega worked with planning partner Urbis and builder partner Hutchies during the initial design phase.
“We wanted 123OBR to feature a vertical stack of beach houses that not only catered for the luxury end of the market, but also offered a design aesthetic that evoked a playful, nautical reference, given its proximity to the beach and the ocean,” Bottega Group managing director, Nick Malloch said.
